Vāstu Vidyā ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy.
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. What we collect
- Account data: your email address, used only for authentication.
- Questionnaire answers: room type, entrance direction, furniture placement, and concerns you enter during an analysis. These are stored against your account to power your reports.
- Room photos (optional): if you attach a photo, it is uploaded to secure cloud storage and used only to generate your Vastu report. You can delete it at any time by deleting the analysis.
- Usage data: a count of how many analyses you have run, used to enforce the free tier limit.
- Purchase data: handled entirely by Apple App Store and RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.
2. How we use your data
- To generate your personalised Vastu report via an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic). Your questionnaire data is sent to the AI model as part of this process.
- To store your past reports so you can review them later.
- To verify your purchase entitlement.
We do not sell, share, or rent your data to any third parties.
3. Data storage
Your data is stored securely in Supabase (EU region). It is protected by row-level security
policies that ensure only you can access your own data.
4. Data retention & deletion
You can delete any individual property (and all its analyses) from within the app.
To delete your account and all associated data, email us at

and we will permanently erase it within 30 days.
5. Children
Vāstu Vidyā is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision.
Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance.
